latest RMV2(38) cannot find a UV-Pro in pairing mode using iphone a foot away.
Same issue with varanny, again with iphone a few feet away. Updated varanny to latest windows version in github, still no joy.
iphone 16 max pro on latest apple patches, varanny on Win11 pc with latest MS patches. The BTECH app has no issue recognizing the UV-Pro as well.
FYI — looks like the secret sauce I needed was to make sure the KISS TNC was enabled in the radio. After enabling, searching for a device located the radio, Identified it for pkt, and allowed it to be added.
Picking a packet connection assigned the UV PRO, set the frequency, and tried to connect for a message exchange.
Still no joy on identifying varanny. Starting to suspect that’s an issue the Windoze folks may have created after the most recent patches. Firewall rules all look reasonable though, so not sure what’s up.
