digirig lite
Kenwood TM-V71a
RadioMail set to Packet Modem (internal)
I selected an active Favorite packet station. When I click Connect nothing happens at the radio set to. The digirig lite PTT red LED blinks.
Changing the radio to APRS station, and looking at the Audio Input Monitor, the bar moves up and down and colors change
For testing I used the same mini Din6 cable to the TM—v71a with the Mobilinkd TNC3 and RadioMail on iPhone and the it works fine.
Thanks

The pinout of the audio radio cable of the DigiRig and the Mobilinkd are different. If you use the same cable to connect to your radio, that's your problem.

Danger of an assumption. I ordered the digirig cable.

This cable? <https://digirig.net/product/mobilinkd-adapter/> ;
I use my digirig cable with the Mobilinkd and this adapter too. Works
fine. If I change radios sometimes I have to change the PTT style from
Simplex to Multiplex and vice versa in the Mobilinkd config app.
The adapter should change the pinout to let the digirig cables work with
the Mobilinkd (TNC4).

Thanks, Dominic - how did I miss this cable? I’m going to have to try this with my Mobilinkd and the AT578 PTT cable.

I run my AT578 with the DigiRig coiled cord and DigiRig lite connected to my laptop.
Which PTT cable are you using with the AT578? There are two different ones on the digirig website. https://digirig.net/product/anytone-at-d578-cable/ . Do you use the one with CAT control?
