Screen layout optimized for larger screen and keyboard use. Lay foundation for macOS support.
Any update on the iPad layout? My aging eyes are really wrestling with some of the WinLink forms. (Followup to the original post.)
Still intend to deliver an iPad/macOS solution, but it won’t be ready until later this year.
I got a bit distracted by other things (like creating the https://packetcommander.com app) and travels. I’ve also decided the best approach to deliver the kind of iPad and iCloud syncing support I envisioned would require a complete rewrite of RadioMail.
So I need a lot more time (and motivation) to do this as it is a bit of a slog and slow going. I have a prototype running, with the new 3-panel UI, and I can send/receive emails over telnet. I’m now slowly going through porting all the other aspects like radio pairing, packet protocol, built-in modem, vara, forms, etc.
Packet Commander was a fun, itch-scratching type endeavor. It will help in some capacity in the sense that I rewrote the AX.25 packet from scratch for that app and plan to reuse it for the new version of RadioMail, so there is some progress there.
Lots to do still.
