We have an old 1k2 Packet UHF Digi in our region that will soon be switched to Winlink. It uses a different RX and TX frequency. I wanted to test Packet Commander with it today, but I found that I can only set a simplex frequency. Is it useful to create the possibility in Packet Commander (possibly RadioMail e.g..) to be able to set different RX and TX frequencies? Interesting. I didn’t expect this type of configuration to be used for packet. Exposing separate RX and TX frequencies in the UI would add a lot of complexity for what seems like a niche use case.
If you’re using a TNC like a Mobilinkd, or you disable CAT control, the app will simply use whatever frequencies the radio is configured for.

Hi Georges… I try to disable CAT control, but I find no setup point in RadioMail, Packet Commander and my VERO VGC N-76 that I use. How can i do this?
I misspoke. Disabling CAT control is only available in the B.B. Link adapter for the TH-D74/5, not in the app itself. So as of now, indeed single frequency is the only way with the VGC or UV-PRO.
