Hey Georges,
Quick question please. Does the tiny pico charge the battery when plugged into usb?
Yes the TinyPICO has a charge circuit that will charge the battery when plugged into USB.
Hey all,
FYI, my TinyPICO arrived from Australia in about a week just fine. Took me all of 10 minutes to get Georges’s code loaded on it.
The board appears to be running fine now, and I’m ready to test it.
I had followed the instructions to a T. Only one gotcha, but a minor one.
I had never used the Arduino IDE on my Mac before. (Macbook Pro with current MacOS.) When I tried to compile the code, it barfed at me with an error similar to this one:
xcrun: error: invalid active developer path (/Library/Developer/CommandLineTools), missing xcrun at: /Library/Developer/CommandLineTools/usr/bin/xcrun
A quick search and I found the solution. Via command line (Terminal), enter:
xcode-select —install
That gets Xcode to install some essential components. If you have not done that, you’ll get the compilation error also.
After that, the code compiled and loaded just fine onto my TinyPICO.
Now I just have to wait for my D75 to arrive so I can test it…

Thanks Ken. It's always challenging to remember everything that got installed on a dev system.
I'm happy to confirm that B.B. Link is working great with the TH-D75. I had only been able to test with D74 previously so I was eager to try it out when my unit shipped out. It basically works the same, no noticeable difference. The spacing for the belt clip mounting holes are identical as well.
Anyone willing to load a TinyPICO with the firmware, add the battery/switch and ship for a fee? I have a TH-D74 for a couple of years but don't have the time at the moment to go through the process to build one (though I'm incredibly appreciative of the open source nature of this project!!).
