Apple introduced changes in iOS/iPadOS 27 that are causing the app to crash. Fixing this will require changes deep within some of the underlying libraries, so it will take some time to address.
A 1.6.0 beta build of RadioMail is addressing those crashes.
This required significant change to the app’s dynamic loading system to address the issue. If you encounter any crashes or unexpected behavior, please report them.
This is a universal problem and why The Tech Prepper “pins” versions of Ubuntu, Hamlib, JS8Call, etc. Changes break things. I upgraded my iPhone to test and lost functionality. Apple upgraded their iOS and OS to V25, and it broke some very basic functionality that their engineers have been unable to fix for 2 months now; and they are Beta testing V28!
I like RadioMail a lot, but I won’t be using it if it requires an upgrade of my iOS. Might I suggest that you pin a version of RadioMail that matches the version of iOS?
