Using a previously Saved Form

I have saved a number of forms in iCloud. When I try to reuse the saved forms, each time it ignores using the data from the form I select, and it just gives me the data from the last form I used. How can I use? One of my previously saved forms?

Can you provide the steps you use to save and restore the form?

At the bottom of the form, there is a box labeled “Save Check-in Data”. Selecting that box takes me to my iCloud folders on my phone, where I’ve created a folder labeled “WinLink”. I have 2 forms saved in this folder. An ICS-213 for “WinkLink Wednesday” check-ins, and another for a local ham group called OCHEART. When I inspect the forms from within iCloud, I can see that the data are correct in both. However, when I choose Load Check-in Data, a button located on the top right of the form, despite it allowing me to choose the form I want from iCloud, it only loads the form I last used, ignoring my selection.

I want to make sure we’re talking about the same thing.

Are you saving the check-in data from one specific form (for example the ICS-213 template), and later loading that saved data back into that exact same form?

Or are you trying to save from one form and then load that saved data into a different form?

The saved “Check-in Data” is tied to the specific form template. If you save from one form and try to load it into another form (even if they look similar), it won’t work correctly. The app will only load the data into the same form type it was saved from.

Please confirm:

  1. Which exact form template you are opening (for example, ICS-213).

  2. That you tap “Save Check-in Data” from that form.

  3. Later, you open the same form template again and tap “Load Check-in Data”.

This is what I am doing:

  1. Load form ICS-213

  2. That you tap “Save Check-in Data” from that form.

  3. Later, you open the same form template again and tap “Load Check-in Data”.

  4. When I select “Load Check-in Data” I am directed to iCloud where my forms are saved.

  5. I select the form I want to load, but it doesn’t bring in the saved data. It brings in no new data whatsoever.

I can’t reproduce what you describe. Data load back into the form.

This is what I see. By the way, how are you able to tab through the Fields and enter the information. I’ve not seen that option before as well.

I’m confused. You’re opening a Winlink checkin form but the data you seem to want to restore into it say ICS 213. Are you positive that the data you saved is coming from the form you’re trying to restore it into?
